DAY 1 Perth

Start your Australia coast adventure in cosmopolitan Perth. Roam around on your own, exploring the city’s top attractions and experiences. (Overnight in Perth)

DAY 2 Perth

Explore the city using your Hop-on-Hop-off. Visit Kings Park and Botanic Garden, The Bell Tower, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Elizabeth Quay, Yagan Square, Winthrop Hall, The Old Mill, and much more while discovering Perth on your own. (Overnight in Perth)

DAY 3 Overnight Onboard Indian Pacific

Climb onboard the Indian Pacific for a fantastic Australia coast journey to Adelaide that you’ll never forget. DAY 4 Overnight Onboard Indian Pacific

The Indian Pacific rolls into Rawlinna Station at dawn, where you’ll get off the train for a hot breakfast and coffee on the platform. In the afternoon, explore the ghost town of Cook (population four). Back on the train, relax, and recharge in your cabin before heading to the lounge or dining carriage. DAY 5 Adelaide

Welcome to the lively city of Adelaide. Let’s say it’s worth a visit because of an enjoyable Mediterranean climate, miles of beautiful coastline, green parks, a vibrant arts and music scene, delicious cuisine, and some of the world’s best wines. (Overnight in Adelaide)

DAY 6 The Barossa Valley

Enjoy a real treat today with an all-day tour to the world-renowned Barossa wine region. Travel through some stunning scenery and beautiful vineyards, stopping in the award-winning Pinarie for a tasting and morning tea. Following some free time in Tanunda, a gourmet lunch is served at the famous Lambert Estate. Then there is even time to visit the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company for a different wine (and chocolate!) tasting before returning to Adelaide.

DAY 7 Adelaide To Melbourne

Continue the Australia coast to coast adventure when you board The Overland train from the Parklands Terminal to Melbourne Southern Cross station. Up for a day trip somewhere memorable, take the Great Ocean Road along the breathtaking stretches of coastline to Port Campbell National Park and the Twelve Apostles. DAY 9 Phillip Island Penguin Parade Evening Tour

Enjoy the morning at your leisure, then join your included Phillip Island Penguin Parade evening tour in the afternoon. First, visit a Koala Conservation Reserve to see Koalas up close and personal in their natural habitat, then follow a Park Ranger on an informative guided walk. Cross the bridge to Phillip Island in the fishing village of San Remo before arriving at the Phillip Island Visitor Information Centre, where you will learn about the little penguins. At Summerland Beach, you will see the nightly ritual of the fairy penguins waddling out of the ocean into their burrows in the sand. DAY 10 Melbourne To Sydney

Next in the Australia coast to coast journey is Sydney. Travel by train from Melbourne Southern Cross station to Sydney Central in first class. DAY 11 Sydney

DAY 12 Day Trip To The Blue Mountains

Experience a full-day, all-inclusive tour of the magical, mysterious Blue Mountains. Visit Sydney Zoo on your way out of the city, then learn all traditional Aboriginal tools, artifacts and bush tucker, and the Bungarribee Dreaming Experience. Enjoy lunch in the charming village of Leura before a ride on the Scenic Skyway, Cableway, Walkway, and Railway at Scenic World. Take the 2.4km stroll on the elevated boardwalk through the Jurassic rainforest for the perfect vantage point of the incredible Three Sisters and Jamison Valley.
