Day 2 – Exploring Rome
Today, enjoy a guided tour of Rome, which introduces us to its most revered sights. Pause for ice cream in charming Giolitti, the city’s oldest gelateria. It dates back to the late 1800s. Day 3 – Hidden Rome
Today, we visit some of Rome’s lesser-known gems. Discover the architecture of the Quartiere Coppedè district, which is an unexpected delight tucked away from Rome’s more famous streets. The magical, otherworldly quality of the neighborhood is created by the blend of historic architectural styles, including Baroque, ancient Greek, Art Nouveau, and medieval structures. The Basilica of Santo Stefano Rotondo is the national church of Hungary in Rome, dedicated to both Christian martyrs St Stephen and Stephen I, the first king of Hungary.
Basilica of Santo Stefano Rotondo is a unique church in Rome, with frescoes lining the circular walls, each representing the death of another martyr, giving an eerie effect to the undoubtedly beautiful structure. Our final visit is to Trastevere, an authentic Roman neighborhood known for its incredible food. During lunch at a local restaurant, we sample the neighborhood’s food.

Day 5 – Florence at Leisure
Explore Florence at leisure today. With its 1,700 masterpieces of Renaissance art on display, Florence has much of the city’s beauty indoors. This world-famous gallery, known as ‘the heart of the Renaissance,’ features art by Botticelli, Giotto, Michelangelo, Cimabue, Leonardo da Vinci, and Raffaello, to name some of the most famous. Day 6 – Pisa & Luca
Today we’re traveling by train through Tuscany, where rolling vine-covered hills stretch as far as the eye can see. Acres of olive groves and rows of cypress, walnut, and bay trees line the tracks. As we head to Pisa, we pass remote farmhouses and isolated villages. We enjoy a guided tour in Pisa that includes the city’s incredible Field of Miracles. Here we experience the Leaning Tower, the Duomo, a superb example of Romanesque architecture, with sublime Moorish mosaics.
Later, we’ll go to Lucca’s beautiful city, one of Italy’s best-kept secrets and has managed to escape the tourist crowds. Narrow cobbled streets and intricate passageways link the charming piazzas, small community churches, and fabulous art galleries. Explore the city at leisure. Day 7 – Venice

Day 8 – Venice Sightseeing
A guided tour of Venice begins in St Mark’s Square, dominated by the magnificent Basilica di San Marco and the venerable Palazzo Ducale, or Doge’s Palace. You can go sightseeing in this romantic city this afternoon. If you want a good view of the city, climb the Campanile di San Marco.
